For a long time now Vulcan XL391 has been in a poor state at Blackpool Airport. There have been various attempts at Sale/Salvage & now the latter has happened. XL391 is no longer. At this time we do not know it anything has been saved.

Avro Vulcan XL391 has been SOLD on Ebay! The long time resident at Blackpool Airport was under threat for some time and it seems that time has run out. For a look - Follow the Link Here's hoping she remains in one piece and gets some tender care!

Flypast reports that in Blackpool, Lancs, Avro Vulcan B.2 XL391 faces the axe by August - Attempts are being made to raise funds for it's survival.
